The presence of chaotic transients in a nonlinear dynamo is investigated through numerical simulations the 3D magnetohydrodynamic equations. By using kinetic helicity flow as control parameter, hysteretic blowout bifurcation conjectured to be responsible for transition dynamo, leading sudden increase magnetic energy attractor.
